Pictures you would like to see

This was taken when i was on the Karluv Most(Charles Bridge). Many people was kayaking at that moment...although it was quite cold.

This is terminal of the Charles Bridge. The main tourist attraction at this area. You can see the Saints(statue) standing at the both side of the bridge. A fantastic picture showing both on the bridge and below it, before the river.
The tallest building is the church. The rest no idea... =P
Just under the Karluv Most...before the main river.
The guards are chaging their shift...everything must be so orderly done.
Ah, Malaysian studnet so excited at the old town square...guess who there are?

Some pictures of Prague

Well i dunno most of the name of the places. This is the building just in front of the prague castle. We stayed here for quite some times to take pictures. Some Malaysians can be seen here. This is another building we passed through...forgot what it is d...
It was a view from high up the hill. Very high hill of course.
A small path towards the prague castle...only Malaysians and Czech tour guide(volunteer) See the pink colour house(very small one one the left) According to tour guide, he said it is the smallest house in Czech and it is in the book of Guiness. Believe it or not!

Prague catheral at night view. Very colourful huh! Just like in the fairy tales. This is one of the funniest thing i saw in prague. Many toilet bowls were hang there on the pole. I din get any information about it. But it sure attracted a lot of tourist. It was near the Mustek station. But now it had been removed.

First step in prague

Wow, it was so long since i last posted a blog here. So here i must try to show as much picture as possible to show you where am i staying at the moment. Above is the picture taken at the airport of Ruzyne, Prague. It was the very first air i breathed after almost a day in the plane and airport.

From here you can see the river of Prague(though i dunno what it is called). And the red colour thing is the tram. Like i said before. They are super-efficient. The time they reach the station is as stated there in a time schedule on the board.

This is the river i was talking about. Very nice right? Prague isn't called for one of the most majestic view of sceneries in Europe for nothing.

INTEC-under one roof

It has been quite long since i last write about the life in INTEC. It's always hard to begin the story as there are too many of them.

I think the most happy time in my life started after i moved into the same unit with andrew, ryan and chin eu, in block 12. Although we don't really know each other much, thanks to andrew who brought us together. Funny though, chin eu and i came from the same class in secondary school but we seldom talk or even know each other much before we came here. It was a mere slip of fate that brought us together, throughout the A-level life in Shah Alam.

Sometimes i wonder whether it is fate or luck that i got JPA offer after i failed in the first try. I told myself by then, if i was not destined to be a doctor, then let me stay in F6 and i shall pursue my dream as a phamarcist. Days after that, i got the letter. In a blur, i know i was offered to study medicine in a strange place called INTEC(UiTM). I wasn't really excited by then, because i was a bit sick.

So in a hurry, i need to prepare all documents needed by JPA including medical check-up etc. May be too rush in a short time, i was sicked, really serious migrain that i admitted to hospital for 2 days...that's the day before the registration day in INTEC. So guys, now you know why i was late to school for a week.

First day at campus after a week late was really fearful. No body lead you to class, no direction, nothing. I found a guy on the way to his class and i asked him about my situation. He was in a hurry. So i wasn't able to get any info from him. Later he turned out to be one of my best friend, jun hui.

Thanks to an ALM senior who was reading newspaper at the ALG block who then led me to Pn. Rita. Yes, that was how i entered M1 in the first place. Then i switched to M8 because i was left out quite alot of topic since M1 is the first batch to entered.

From there on, my life just start to sparkle all the way throughout magnificent 2 years of A-level. Jimi was the first person to have spoken to me, followed by stephanie. Weird enough, i sat beside a funny indian guy, Siva who was a state debater, Negeri Sembilan...although sometimes i won over him in some argument. Haha.

Back to my housemate. It was really surprising that andrew become my roommate although i was closer to chin eu back then. A new experience i suppose. He is a nice guy, indeed. Not very convincing sometimes but he did cheer you up when you are down. Remember the time all four of us cooked the dinner with everything bought from Giant? Its really an atmosphere back then. Eating on the floor with all the specialties we cooked. Taste good too!

And remember the time when we all go out eat dinner together. Andrew will always be the leader to choose which shop to eat. Too bad you and chin eu left earlier, cause ryan and i found a quite nice place to eat just opposite our hostel.

Well of course the most important entertaiment for 4 of us, DOTA in CC nearby. I don't really remember whether i'm the one who taught all of you to start to play this game. But it was really fun, although andrew always complain people killed his character after we returned to our room. We will discuss non-stop on better strategy to play next time...there's always next time...=P

After you guys left the room, it was a bit silent without andrew conference with senior-junior in my room and without chin eu's elephant-foot-quake, wash cloth's sound and someone sit on the chair reading book early in the morning well prepared waiting for us to wake up one by one. Haha.

Then ryan and i will be seen side by side every lunch and dinner hour. We took turn to become leader. Oh, there was once we were eating at Ameralli(ex-name) and ryan vomited everything he ate into his plate in front of me. Gosh huh!

We play DOTA when we feel upset or leisure. It was really fun to have someone beside you to share the joy and sadness with you. Share about studies, gossips, latest informations in INTEC, new couples, friends problems, past year paper, exam question, study like hell during any exam, best food, best movies, best strategy in Dota, hate who and like who, love, and chess...miss all those things we did together in INTEC...

Although sometimes we fight...it will just fade within minutes. I don't really care what happen early but as long as we are still friend then it will be all OK. Both of us had up and down during different period...i was worry about the entrance to Charles Uni and you comforted me while you were worry about your Uni and i try to make you happy by going play games.

When it comes to girls affair...all 4 of us understand what happen in between. Really funny and reminiscing. And when come to sports, chin eu and i made it to champion in doubles. Bravo for that.

And all of 4 us who have separated in different angle of the world, wish you all a happy life and enjoy your study there. Miss everything we shared together last time.

For all my great housemates,

Thanks andrew for your friendliness that brought us together,
thanks chin eu for accompany me back home every week and a good listener,
thanks ryan for giving me great accompany, great teacher, and everything we share together.

Hope we all can once more stay under one roof and share everything again. And i apologise for any mistake i made or annoyed you all during the time we stayed together. Friendship forever.

Miss you all..
with tears...

My place

Its been awhile since i last post in this magnificent blog. Now i am no longer in my country, Malaysia but a place far far away, somewhere in the centre of europe, so they call.

Any idea? It is just Prague, capital of Czech Republic. It might sound a bit unfamiliar with this country in my place but its very popular amongst the EU countries.

Now this is the place that i'm going to stay for the next 6 years for my degree, MuDr. It is indeed a very nice place for you to tour around but for long stay here would be a bit of headache.

First of all, it is largely due to the far distance of my hostel from my campus, 30-50min to the furthest building! Imagine a class start at 8am in the morning...you have to wake up at...say 6.30am the latest! And imagine walking in the morning with wind blowing at temperature <10 degree celcius...ouch! For me, i feel as if i am walking in the large fridge meant to keep frozen chicken and beef, yeah...with the condensed air coming out from your mouth and nose as you breath.

Food is the second main factor. Its pretty hard to get food from around my hostel. Yes, the hostel do supply breakfast and lunch...but its until 2pm. And my class mostly finish after 3-5pm...Sometimes i have to buy bagety(type of bread with some salami or chicken or ect)

Food basically cost us RM10-RM20 for a normal meal we get from Malaysia. So its kinda sad that i can't always eat what i want...(although i don't care for the moment) =P

Transportation is rather cheap here...630 crown for 3 months...which is about RM100. But hostel rent is rather exp. It cost us 169 crown per night! Compared with 67 crown only in olomouc...when our allowance from JPA are about the same...sad.

And the metro(like KTM) here very effective...unlike the one in Malaysia...it move much faster(x5 speed of KTM). Very accurate as stated in timetable. Cool!

One thing weird about the hostel system is that the cleaning ladies are able to come into our room to clean up certain thing like floor and change new bedsheet...no security for out belonging...but as the people here are quite honest(as they said), so i trust them for the moment.

Temperature is dropping in my place...fluactuation is very high here as no sea surround this country. Winter will be hell for me if no extra heater in my room. The one available now is the hot water type that not very effective...that make me cold even its on!

I hope i could find a new apartment before the snow coming down.

Sarawak trip again

kuching(part three)
Ooooh, i was really amazed by the new airport in Kuching. It looked just like a smaller version of KLIA. Once again, i hope Melaka will soon build a very very beautiful, humongous airport to compete with Kuching. Heehee.

Alright, here we have at least 3 tour guide. Nic, irene, and sc. Too bad the rest of them not around to bring us around. Otherwise our trip will be more crazy than we had expected.
The food in Kuching festival was really tempting. I ate lemon fish+nasi briyani if i had not mistaken. Marvellous taste. I give 8 out of 10. However, the 'bird' i tasted was really awful...yucks...i'll never eat that kind of bird anymore.

We were lucky enough to be able to stay at irene's house. Such a warm welcome we received during our stay. Bravo!!! The next few days, we visited Damai beach, nothing much to do there except we took lots of picture. And the girls were trying to drown me. Luckily, i was heavy enough not to be pushed by them. Haha. U lost gals!!

Then we went to cultural village for a sight of what the aborigines were doing there. Not so boring afterall, as we drank a few type of rice-type-alcohol. Emm, taste better than those cocktails in pub.

As for the performance we watched inside the auditorium, we saw only one pretty dancer. Nah, that doesn't really matter. I remember i went onto the stage with s.a to imitate their tradisional dance. Hurray for us!!

Oh, there was one almost-ghost-like-cafe in kuching...kinda scary because no light bulbs are available in the garden area(1.5mx2m). It was quite frustrating when i have to read the menu. I took quite some time just to see what word was printed on the book.

And of course our night in Kuching ended very young. It was the earliest night we returned to our lovely 'dorm' during our trip to Sarawak. We were so thankful to S.C family for inviting us to such a great dinner. Really, we all gained weight from this exciting trip. They all said Irene is an insanely 'kuai kuai' girl. Do you believe it? Yeah, just give your best shot to comment here.
And then, our journey ended happily after seeing Irene sent us off from Kuching airport...Bye Sarawak...

Sarawak trip

Sibu (part two)
After saying bye bye to doreen's mom and dad at Miri's bus station, we departed to Sibu, a place where andrew suppose to be in if he is still in Malaysia. Haih, no 'yuan' with him.

5 hours in the bus sure is boring one. Nevertheless, it was accompanied by some cockroaches...You can hear S.A scream throughout the bus...Lucky enough, we able to play poker all the way to Sibu. 6 of us were the most noisy passengers in the bus. Thankfully the driver didn't throw us out. Hehe.

S.O so happy meeting us there( probably only, since he had to handle so many devils from nowhere). Thanks to him, we ate a lot delicious titbits and popular 'small eat' from Sibu. But i guess buying pirated cds were out biggest achievement there. RM1 for one cd was really cheap. Oh, he told us lots of ghost story. We finally made a conclusion that Sibu is well known for cd and ghost. Yeah!!!

We spent large proportion of our time hunting for cds. The only significant place we visited was the 'haunted' park. Eww, sounds creepy when he told us about the ghost stories he heard. Wait a minute, before this we spent half a day for the girls to rummage around 2 boutiques...Haha....

Finally, we took our plane from Sibu to Kuching. Sometimes i wonder why melaka don't have domestic airport. Even the small town Sibu has it.

To be continue...

Sarawak Trip

Miri (part one)
I took a bus from malacca with esmond to pudu where we later took a cab to KL central. There, we met S.A and T.H. 4 of us departed to LCCT( a brand new airport for domestic flight). Oh, then i understand what is 'airbus' meant. (just a normal plane!!) P.F already there waiting for us. Our destination is miri!!

Not surprising, we can't see many building from on top of the plane. Just plainly trees!! Ahah, i felt so happy to see doreen and N.C there. =P It is a small town with few cars, i guess. And i was anticipating what is awaiting for us tomorrow.

We ate dim sum, many many dim sum the next morning. lol I guess there's no diff with the one in west malaysia. Visiting the shopping centre was quite interesting though. From one end to the other only took us 5 mins. ^^

The only shopping complex that really caught my attention was Boulevard( cause it is everywhere, including restaurant++) If i not mistaken, we went to another complex after we visited N.C lovely house. Her house very big indeed!!! Got cute dog also!!

Oh ya, we were told that we had brought the rain to sarawak as it had not rained for centuries. We played bowling and watched movie, VOICE( indeed an ultra-super-ridiculously boring movie)

Guess what, we went to brunei for one day trip. One thing i sad about that country is the unfriendly treatment we had at the brunei custom. It was a very long trip. We saw petroleum plantation all over the place with some funny machine called 'metal horse' to dig the oil. Among the places we visited include village on the lake, shopping mall and jerutong( a leisure park with many abandoned games). Only the bumber car that had drived us crazy. Hehe.

Miri is quite an interesting place. Well i wonder is that all the places we visited within the miri area. Gua Niah. Haha. Another fantastic place we had visited. Once you come here you will realise how small the hills or caves you have ever climbed. We took a total of 4 hours to finish about 10km walk, including climbing stairs and slopes. The cave alone did not catch much of mty attention. It was the joy of walking long distance that excited me. Ah!!! There was a part in the cave that esmond suddenly missing from behind us. He fell from the bridge to the soil beside. Lucky it was not deep. God bless him. lol

Now i want to talk about the night life in miri. Keke. Pub was our major priority at night. We had tried uncountable amount of cocktail and liquor. Umm, not very nice in taste actually. For the pub we went twice, Island, bravo cause your passion to tell us what drink most suitable for us is really appreciated. Pss, S.A drunk in one of the occasions...hehe. She became a big mouse at night that stole doreen's 2 packets of maggie mee to eat...haha.

In Miri, i had a very pleasureable stay in doreen's house with her family's warm hospitality. I think anyone come to Miri can go find her too because she very generous one...haha. Ah, there i discovered 'bilin', a type of vege that we can't find in west malaysia. Basically i think the food in miri really delicious!!! To be continue......
